State law requires students entering 7th grade to have the following shots: MMR: (measles, mumps and rubella): Two doses given after the first birthday. Td/Tdap: (tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis): One dose given after 11th birthday. Hepatitis B: A series of three shots given over a six-month period. Varicella: Two doses given after the first birthday, or date of disease. Polio: At least three doses. Students will not be able to start 7th grade unless they are up-to-date on immunizations.
