WELCOME TO TRIMESTER TWO
Daily oral language skills are written in their journals Monday-Thursday
A journal entry is added every Tuesday and Friday. Their journals do get turned in for a grade every two - three weeks.
Refer to the Bud, Not Buddy project due 12/5/08. Students are working on them in class.
If they are not finished in class by Friday, they will need to bring them home to complete or come during study hall.
Week 13 Spelling (same routine for the week)

Science (Hour 3 and 4)
Welcome to Trimester Two - Planetary and Weather Science
The Rock Test will be recorded as their first score second trimester. There will be extra credit available 12/5 and due on 12/12 to improve their test score.
Week 1: Finish Volcanoes and Earthquakes TEST on Friday, 12- 3

Science (Hour 5 and 6)
All students are expected to participate in group work.
Grades are based on class lessons and lab investigations.
The textbooks, investigations and Resource books cannot be taken out of the classroom.
Week 1: The students learned rules, expectations and safety in the classroom. They also practiced working in lab groups. Parent Signature Form due 12/5
